Carter Hastings was born and raised in Corpus Christi,

Texas. He earned his undergraduate degree from Baylor

University before attending SMU Dedman School of Law.

Shortly after earning his law degree, Mr. Hastings joined

the legal team of Anderson Alexander. Since joining the

firm, Carter has represented thousands of workers in over

two hundred wage and hour collective and class actions.

A Central Texas native, Blayne attended Texas A&M University w,here she was admitted into the Business Honors Program at Mays Business School. Blayne graduated from Texas A&M University in three and a half years, earning a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance. After earning her undergraduate degree, Blayne relocated to San Antonio where she earned her Juris Doctorate from St. Mary’s University School of Law.

Since joining the legal team of Anderson Alexander, Blayne

has focused her practice on wage and hour litigation under

the Fair Labor Standards Act. In addition, Blayne has a wide range of experience handling first party insurance litigation, complex business disputes, mass torts, multi-district litigation, and agricultural litigation.

Lauren began her legal career defending some of the

nation’s largest companies from claims ranging from personal injury to complex business disputes. Upon her return from life abroad in Turkey, Lauren left the private sector to work as an appellate staff attorney for one of the justices of Texas’ Thirteenth Court of Appeals. However, for most of the past decade Lauren has represented employees in complex collective and class actions in federal courts across the United States.

She is a zealous advocate for her clients and has extensive

experience in all pre-trial matters through trial on the merits. Lauren also maintains an appellate docket and is admitted to practice before the United States Supreme Court, the Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit, the Fourth, Fifth, and Eleventh Circuit Courts of Appeals. 

Born and raised in the Coastal Bend, I am a fifth-generation

Rockport native dedicated to fighting for injury victims across Texas and the entire country. With over 13 years of experience, I have secured tens of millions of dollars for clients in trucking accidents, workplace injuries, wrongful death claims, and more.I take pride in holding negligent parties accountable and advocating for justice.

When I’m not in the courtroom, I’m spending time with my wife and daughter or fishing the Texas coast—where my roots run deep.

Maureen graduated from the University of Texas at Austin School of Law in 2004. She spent the next 20 years working for the federal government, primarily defending management on employment discrimination complaints. Currently, Maureen is leveraging her unique perspective and experience to represent employees who have faced discrimination and retaliation in the workplace. In her spare time, Maureen enjoys being outdoors– hiking, biking, and playing with her dogs.
